FileMaker Server 14.0.4.412 was released on November 12 and there is a known issue with the Mac Updater fms_updater_14.0.4.412.

When run on 14.0.3.302 it will break remote access to the admin console (https://%5Bhost%5D:16000/admin-console). You can still access the admin console from the server at http://localhost:16001 but you won’t be able to access it remotely.

As of November 19 the only solution is a full uninstall of FMS 14, followed by a new install of FileMaker Server 14v4. There are a couple of tricky little things explained in full here:
