Last month Joe Aldeguar and I did a presentation at the 2014 SAF Annual Convention that focussed heavily on digital and online security. Not long afterwards the celebrity phone hacking scandal broke and that information became even more relevant.

The victims of the attack suffered the loss of their privacy and it seems to have started people thinking. Since the story hits the news I have heard from several people who wanted to know how they could better protect themselves online. To help them out I have posted the relevant parts of the presentation on my personal website.

In an ideal world nobody would try and break into our homes or access our online files. Unfortunately that just isn’t the world we live in. We take steps to protect our homes from burglary and it will become increasingly important to protect our digital assets. I hope the this information helps.
